Hi,
Just wanted to let you know about Welcome Yule: A Midwinter Celebration,
which is happening this weekend at the Shea Theatre in Turners Falls.
It's a theater production and was very enjoyable last year.
There is some Morris Dancing in the show and I know that a number of you
were curious about what Morris Dancing is. Seth will be one of the
Morris dancers (at least on Friday night).
Info from their site-
Celebrate midwinter at a rousing evening of dances, carols and plays.
Welcome Yule is not just another holiday production. It is a centuries-old
tradition and a participatory family experience. Sing traditional carols.
Listen to stories of the season. Watch magical, ancient dances, and groan
or howl at the modern twists on the puns in the mummer's play. No
experience necessary! Just bring your enthusiasm, your holiday spirit, and
your hopes for the New Year.
